Ordinary Fabrics/Functional Fabrics/Hydrophobic Fabrics
Cotton
Cotton is a versatile textile used for fashion, casual wear, underwear, and shirts. It is known for being warm, soft, breathable, and having good moisture absorption. However, it is prone to shrinking, wrinkling, and may require ironing to maintain its appearance.
Multifunction: Breathable, moisture-absorbent, soft, and comfortable. Naturally hypoallergenic and suitable for sensitive skin.
Application Range: Casual wear, fashion apparel, shirts, underwear, and loungewear.
Linen
Linen is a fabric made from natural fibers like hemp, flax, ramie, jute, and sisal. It is commonly used for casual and work wear, especially in summer. Linen is strong, breathable, and offers excellent moisture absorption, but can feel rough and stiff, making it less comfortable compared to other fabrics.
Multifunction: High tensile strength, breathable, moisture-wicking, and thermally conductive, making it cool and ideal for warm climates.
Application Range: Casual wear, summer outfits, work wear, and shirts.
Silk
Silk is a luxurious fabric known for its softness, smoothness, and elegant appearance. It is widely used in women’s clothing and is breathable, lightweight, and colorful. While it offers comfort and style, it is prone to creasing, fading, and lacks durability.
Multifunction: Smooth, lightweight, breathable, luxurious luster, and excellent moisture absorption. It is naturally hypoallergenic.
Application Range: High-end fashion, formal wear, lingerie, and women’s clothing.
Chemical Fiber
Chemical fiber is made from polymer compounds and includes both artificial and synthetic fibers. It is known for its bright color, soft texture, and smooth drape. However, it has poor wear resistance, low heat tolerance, and limited breathability. It is also prone to static and deformation when exposed to heat.
Multifunction: Bright colors, lightweight, and smooth with a neat drape. Quick-drying and resistant to wrinkles.
Application Range: Sportswear, fashion apparel, outerwear, and casual wear.
Blended
Blended fabric combines natural fibers and chemical fibers in specific ratios to balance the strengths of both. It is used in various types of clothing and offers the advantages of cotton, linen, silk, wool, and chemical fibers while minimizing their weaknesses. Blended fabrics are affordable and widely popular.
Multifunction: Combines the best properties of natural and synthetic fibers, including durability, softness, and breathability, while minimizing drawbacks like wrinkling and shrinkage.
Application Range: Casual wear, work wear, fashion apparel, and activewear.
